This original oil painting on a 36″ x 36″ gallery wrapped canvas is one that is special to my heart. It is reminiscent of an old hay barn on the horse farm where I grew up. I love the hushed quiet of a fresh fallen snow, especially at night. I grew up in Pennsylvania on a Thoroughbred horse farm where I have such wonderful memories of running outside at night to feel the snow falling down all around us. I painted this barn, not realizing until I was almost finished, that it is very reminiscent of that old hay barn we had. The light coming out of the open barn door is meant to reflect the promise of what is within as well as what is to come. It brings me so much peace and tranquility, I hope you enjoy it too❤️
